Octopizzo - Khaligraph

Kenya’s top rapping sensations Octopizzo and Khaligraph Jones are up in arms with each other again, only a few days after their infamous ‘Who Is King Battle’. It seems like there is no love between the two rappers who have taken to verbal exchange on social media following the release of their respective songs.

Their new beef started when Octopizzo dropped ‘Butere’ a few days ago. Barely weeks later, Khaligraph dropped his jam ‘Wanjiru and Akinyi’ and used the opportunity to thump Octopizzo’s ‘Butere’ while hyping his on social media. In his Facebook post dated August 3rd, Khaligraph wrote “None of that terere type of music” in part. This according to many was in reference to Octopizzo’s new song ‘Butere’, who’s content mainly revolve around eating terere, a common traditional vegetable.

“On the 15th of this Month, the most anticipated HipHop Jam In Kenya Drops ,strictly urban material, none of that terere Type of Music, Kenya I promise you that I Will rep You till end.” He posted.

Octopizzo could not let it slide as he counteracted with a blow under Khaligraph’s belt via a smashing post on Wednesday, after ‘Wanjiru and Akinyi’’ had dropped. Octopizzo decided to slam Khaligraph’s new video smokey visuals.

Of course nobody wanted to give up the fight and as they say real Kings fight to the end, Khaligraph threw another cold one to wrap it up as he quoted one of Octopizzo’s line from his 2015 hit song ‘This could be us’…“Hey hey kama chakula ya farasi.”
