Comedian cum politician Kato Lubwana recently acquired a brand new asset, a TV station called Biliv TV.
Word reaching us is that the MP who took out a big loan to be able to finance his new venture will now make the station the only comedy-only TV in Uganda.
Sources reveal that Biliv will be a comedy central of sorts for Uganda and that all local comedy will be featured on the station once rights are acquired from the different content creators. The source went on to tell us that the MP did this as a reminder to all those who think that he left comedy for politics.
“He still has one leg in comedy even when he is busy with Parliament issues. That is the point he is putting across,” the source said.
The Rubaga South MP will take over full management of the station on in two months’ time.
