Ugandan Mwooyo singer Maurice Kirya is very excited about the “Queen of Katwe” movie coming out later this month.
Kirya is excited because fans will get to see him as an actor now whose character is Theo acting alongside Kenyan Oscar-winning actress Lupita Nyong’o in “Queen Of Katwe”.
“I was truly honored to be featured in this amazing movie by Miira Nair. Alongside the great David Oyelowo, Lupita & the lovely Madina Nalwanga. It will be out on September 30th.” He said.
It should be remembered that during her shoot in Uganda, Lupita dined at Kirya’s restaurant in Kampala, The Sound Cup.
