Musician Eddy Kenzo has been unveiled as a tourism ambassador.
The “Soraye” hitmaker will spearhead a new initiative by the State Minister for Tourism, Hon. Kiwanda Godfrey Suubi dubbed “Tulambule”.
Kenzo has revealed that its an honour to be part of the initiative and called on the masses to promote our tourism attractions. “Its an honour being unveiled as the tourism ambassador of Uganda. Let’s love and promote our own; it all starts with us. No body has to tell our stories, we’ve to do this.”
The “Tulambule” campaign is geared towards promoting domestic tourism through organising a gateway weekend to the different tourism destinations across the country. The campaign kicks off this weekend, 23rd-25th September in Mbarara.
