There was a low turn at Bebe Cool’s concert that was held in Lira last weekend.
According to reports, the “Byebyo” singer was slated to perform in Gulu on Saturday and later head to Lira the following day but his Saturday show was cancelled. Some observers have since blamed the cancelled Gulu show for the low turn up at his Lira show claiming some fans thought all the subsequent shows had also been cancelled while others insist the show was poorly advertised.
When our reporter contacted the organisers, they claimed they did enough publicity for the show and could not pin point a reason for the low attendance.”We surely can not tell why few people turned up for the show but we did everything in our power to make it a success. We fully advertised the show, and even reduced the entrance fee by 30%,” said the organiser.
