Uganda’s dancehall queen Cindy Sanyu is set to perform at a mega music festival in Kenya.
The “Sample Dat” hitmaker will grace the “People of the Nile” festival which celebrates the diversity of the the Nile basin countries through music, dance, culture, food and art.
Cindy has expressed excitement about the gig and has already jetted off to Kenya ahead of the music fete.
People of The Nile Festival presents a powerful platform for a rich cultural exchange amongst the people of the ten Nile basin countries which include Ethiopia, Rwanda, Sudan, Tanzania, Burundi, South Sudan, Uganda, Egypt, Kenya and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
The 3-day festival will be happening on the 9th – 11th December, 2016 on the shores of Lake Victoria in Kisumu.
