Songbird Irene Ntale has revealed that working as an indie artiste is a not an-all smooth affair.
The “Nkubukinze” star, who recently quit Swangz Avenue after four years at the label, has opened up about the challenges she has had to grapple with since making the big career move.
“My biggest challenge so far has been the harsh words from naysayers,” she said. “People are saying leaving Swangz will be the death of my music career.”
“But I am not letting that negativity get to me. I know what I am capable of, and for me, this feels like a start for something even bigger,” she added.
Ntale further noted that she quit the label because she felt it was time for her to take charge of her own music career. She is currently in charge of making all her career decisions, with her younger sister Sandra Ntale helping her as a booking manager.
