Team No Sleep queen Sheebah Karungi did not have a fancy upbringing.
The “Nkwatako” hitmaker, who says is from a very humble background, has opened up about her childhood. She has revealed that she was brought up by a single mother who had to work multiple jobs to support the singer and her siblings.
She further noted that her mother was never home to celebrate the special moments with her.

Sheebah Karungi’s mum (dark skinned woman raising up her hand) attending one of the singer’s past concerts.
Sheebah made the revelation while celebrating her mother for being strong-willed as she marked Women’s Day.
She said, “She gave me life, raised me alone, preached nothing but hard work, patience, integrity, honesty, and self consciousness. We couldn’t be Best friends, and yes she missed out on so much important moments and details because she was always on the move, she needed to work so hard to provide us with shelter, food, school fees, medicine, some clothes ..etc… The list goes on. Everything was on her because I don’t remember a day she wasn’t worried about bills.”
Sheebah further noted that she can now conquer the world thanks to her mum. “She gave up her happiness for Us. With just half of her strength and blessings, I will conquer the world. Happy Women’s Day to the strongest woman I know!” She added.
