Renowned movie translator and commentator VJ Junior, real name Marysmats Matovu, is behind bars.
He was reportedly arrested by police on Tuesday evening on the orders of State Minister for Ethics and Integrity, Simon Lokodo who accuses him of producing and circulating pornographic material in contravention of the Anti-Pornography Act.
VJ Junior was arrested alongside his colleague Geoffrey Bbosa from their work places in the city centre and later taken to Police CIID headquarters in Kibuli where they spent the night.
However, the two denied the allegations and will be produced in court to defend themselves after police investigations are complete.
