Bobi Wine set to be sworn in

The date for Bobi Wine’s swearing in ceremony has been set.

We have learnt that the Kyadondo East MP-elect will be sworn in on Tuesday, July 11 at parliament.

“The swearing in has been slated for Tuesday 11th July 2017 at the Parliament of the Republic of Uganda. Don’t forget to carry your Uganda flag,” Bobi Wine revealed.

The “Bikwase Kyagualnyi” singer emerged winner in the Kyadondo East by-election last week with a 77.76% margin.

The singer, who was standing on an independent ticket, garnered 25, 659 votes to see off competition from other contenders including NRM’s Sitenda Ssebalu William who came second with 4, 566 votes and FDC’s Apollo Katinti in third place with 1, 832 votes.
