Musician turned politician, Bobi Wine has received a global award.
The Kyadondo East MP was honoured at the 3rd edition of the annual Pan-African Pyramid Global awards held at Fairway Hotel on Saturday. He was awarded for his music activism.
Bobi Wine who has in the past released several socially conscious songs aimed at rallying the masses to speak up for their rights received a Pan-African Pyramid Global award for being an African Musical Activist.
The Pan-African Pyramid Global awards seek to recognise individuals who are promoting African cultural beliefs and heritage across the globe.
