Sitya Loss dancer, Alex Ssempijja will be buried tomorrow, we have learnt. The burial arrangements have already been finalized and word coming in is that his body will be taken to Kibibi, Mpigi district, its final resting place.
The vigil will be held today at the mother’s home in Ndeeba, although one group had suggested that the body should be taken to Kenzo’s home.
“He has been a good boy and we are going to miss him, his body is to be taken to Ndeeba that’s where we are to hold the vigil from and whoever wants to see Alex’s body should come to Ndeeba,” said one of the residents.
Meanwhile, there were also requests to have the late dancer’s body at National Theatre for a public viewing but it appears it was ignored. “He has been an artist like others so his body should be taken to the national theatre for the nation to see his body one last time,” argued Sophie Gombya.
