Top city restaurants will for the first time be recognized for their effort in trying to positively shape the culinary industry in the inaugural Kampala Restaurant Awards.
The Kampala Restaurant Awards have been created to honor restaurants, cafes and bars that are committed to delivering exceptional service, quality food, value for money, an amazing atmosphere, authenticity, creativity and innovation.
The nominees list has already been released and the public will vote for their best restaurant over a period of five weeks through SMS or Online(www.kampalarestaurantawards.ug). To vote through SMS, type: KRA<nominee> and send to 6933.
The Kampala Restaurant Awards is not only about recognizing and awarding the best restaurants, its also about experiencing the wide food culture Kampala has to offer. In this regard, there will be a number of fun activations, that will include – wine tastings, celebrity cook-offs, eating competitions among others, in which the public can engage their taste buds.
The Kampala Restaurant Awards winners will be announced at an exclusive red carpet ceremony slated for 25th November at the Kampala Serena hotel.
