Weeks after Radio and Weasel’s former manager Jeff Kiwa was accused of witchcraft following a young man who cut off his brother’s head claiming that Jeff had sent him for it, the duo revealed that they had always suspected Jeff to be involved in witchcraft.

“We always knew he was into witchcraft. Jeff promised to even bewitch us when we threw him out as our manager. We told him to quit and turn to God but he refused to listen to us. If he is interested in heads, let him cook them and eat them alone and leave us out of them,” Radio said.

Jeff was released on Tuesday after Police failed to connect him to Herbert Were who cut off his brothers head on the alleged orders of Jeff. Apparently some people were impersonating Jeff to make Herbert rich if he brought them the head.

News coming in shows that Radio and Weasel almost broke up last year because Jeff Kiwa, their former manager, was bewitching them.

Our sources have revealed that the duo who fired their manager because he was linked to witchcraft and even forced him out of their Neverland residence in Makindye, were at the verge of breakup because of him. The beef between the two was vividly visible in June last year.

While at the Timaya show the singers never gave time to each other let alone say a word to one another like they always did in their heydays. At the Timaya show, the two looked like strangers even as they performed one could see that Radio and Weasel were not in their usual sync. Radio and Weasel who broke away from Leone Island Crew in 2008 are now together with minor issues since Jeff is out of their lives.

Although they drive different cars and come for shows and meetings separately, the two have improved their relationship over the months. It sure is a good thing that Jeff is out of their lives.

The latest coming in from Radio and Weasel’s camp is that the duo are about to fall out with manager Chagga for allegedly swindling 40 million shillings from their coffers.

Radio and Weasel hang out with their manager Chagga in the recent past.

A source has told us that Chagga who is paying off a big chunk of land off Mityana road has managed to swindle over 40 Million from the artistes by under declaring the monies they make off shows from big city businessmen and women. The artistes got a tip off when they were away on a weekend show in Seychelles which was highly attended.

According to what they were told, the manager who took over from Jeff Kiwa was investing the money in business and land around Kampala.

According to the singers, this is the same thing that their former manager was doing moments before they fired him.

Chagga insists that he has been declaring all the monies and that he is clean. His job hangs in the balance right now since the artistes need money to invest in their gospel album that they will be releasing soon especially after they made loses at the Omwana Wa Bandi show because of the Tubonga Nawe saga.

NTV Faridah’s wedding postponed indefinitely

NTV Uganda’s Faridah Nakazibwe who was promised a wedding by her doctor boyfriend will wait a while longer after the wedding was postponed indefinitely.

News coming in indicates that the wedding between her and her man Umar which was slated for May this year was postponed without any reasonable explanation. Umar met Fardiah’s relatives and also took her to his mother in Mbarara. He shortly after flew off to Qatar with a promise of returning for the wedding till now. Faridah then got leave from work to go see him when May went by without him working around. The wedding was pushed to a later time we are yet to know.

Faridah has been in a couple of relationships with a high profile politician, doctor and another guy from Ibanda.

Turns out popular television personality, MC Kats, has put in his best since he joined NBS TV from NTV Uganda but nothing is working out. The After5 show host has finally decided to throw in the towel just a few months on the job.

Kats made the revelation on Facebook when he said that he has put so much effort but nothing is coming out of his work. “Put in as much effort as you can but if with time the results are not matching your effort know you on the wrong truck. Change lane. Happy Heroes Day,” Kats who also doubles as a manager to his girlfriend Fille and owns two Bodaboda’s said.

Kats may now go into private business as his old station may not be ready to take him back.

Radio and Weasel are in trouble after circulating a viral video where they accused Jeff Kiwa, their former manager of witchcraft.

Jeff who was released by Police after no evidence was found to implicate him in a witchcraft scandal went straight to his lawyers and asked them to serve Radio and Weasel for defaming him.

Jeff was arrested after being nabbed by Police for allegedly ordering the beheading off a kid, Joel Ogema by his brother Herbert Were in the promise of a lot of riches. Herbert had a text message indicating that he would meet Jeff at De Javu bar in Kabalagala and deliver the head.

Jeff was only released after three men led by Moses Katende were arrested for impersonating Jeff and getting him into trouble. Radio and Weasel will tassel it out in court with Jeff.

Eddy Kenzo continues to hoist the Ugandan flag high globally. This is after Kenzo’s 2014 smash hit “Sitya Loss” made it to the top 50 songs on Spotify.

Sitya Loss is number six on the recently launched African Heat playlist on the Swedish commercial music streaming, podcast, and video service.

The African Heat playlist was launched to meet the needs of Spotify’s increasing users from the African continent as well as to connect with music and sound from Africa.

The list is dominated by songs from Nigerian singers including D’Banj, Davido, Wizkid, Tiwa Savage, and P-Square among others.

Professor Big Eye’s ex-wife Sheila Don Zella recently showed off Papa Cidy as her new lover and it seems the young musician wants to take things a step further.

Speaking to friends recently, Papa revealed how Sheila has transformed his life and given it meaning to the extent that he is looking at a long term relationship with her.

We have been told that Papa even confessed to being in love with the old mother of four and promised to go ahead with their relationship despite what others say.

The two who have been frequenting clubs together and doing so many other things together had at first denied being in a relationship.

Zella said; “People don’t know who I am in person but with music, I will get known. Also I would like to clear the air regarding my relationship with Papa Cidy. He is just a good friend and he is my designer. He had escorted me to my friend’s wedding when the pictures were taken and started making rounds. We are not lovers.”

Last night Radio enjoyed the company of vocalist Lilian Mbabazi who had come to perform at Club Amnesia after she invited the Neera star on stage and she sang her Vitamin song to him.

Prezzo Fires Back At Jaguar For Calling Him A Socialite

When hitmaker Jaguar called out rapper Prezzo for exhibiting socialite-like tendencies, we all expected a swift response. It may not have come immediately, but the rapper has finally responded to his long standing archenemy three weeks later.

In an interview with Kiss FM’s Shaffie Weru and Kalekye Mumo last month Jaguar ‘killed’ two birds(Akothee and Prezzo) with one stone when he said:

“I don’t hate Prezzo. On the contrary, I have a lot of respect for him. However, if I have to hit the studios with him, then he should not bring the socialite tendencies. He should be a man…You know he is the male version of Akothee.” 

Prezzo, who lives for such drama, recently spoke to Tanzania’s Radio 5 FM saying he is also open to the idea of working with the ‘Going Nowhere’ hitmaker but only if Jaguar drops his provincialism.

“If he reduces the provincialism then we can definitely work together,” he retorted.

He went on to point out one instance where Jaguar’s parochialism is prevalent- Jaguar’s dab dance in his latest video, ‘Going Nowhere’ with Mafikizolo.

Drama as a fan’s phone gets confiscated for recording Lupita Nyong’o

There was added drama onstage at “Eclipsed” on Saturday night.

A spy at the play said, “During Act I, a woman in the first row started video recording the performance on her iPhone.”

The insider added, “When Tony-nominated star Lupita Nyong’o noticed, she “stopped her monologue, and, in character, glared at the woman for what felt like two minutes. The audience was stunned. It sure made things more dramatic.”

We hear the offending woman’s phone was confiscated at intermission.

A rep said there’s been “chronic photo-taking and video-making during” the show of Nyong’o, which is “completely inappropriate.”

Nyong’o’s already won an Obie for her role.

Songstress Juliana Kanyomozi has shared some tips on how to avoid social media scandals following Jeff Kiwa’s child sacrifice saga. Speaking from her own experience, the “Woman” hitmaker said that the first thing is to report the fake accounts. She shared the tips on her official Facebook page:

“I’ve been a victim of Internet impersonation for a while. Unfortunately it’s a growing trend. But two of many things we can do.

1. Inform the police immediately you find out someone is impersonating you, especially if they are using your name to break the law.

2. Run an announcement as soon as you realise you are being impersonated. That way you disassociate yourself from the impersonators and also use the opportunity to warn your followers.”

Meanwhile, it should be remembered that Jeff was arrested by police late last month after a one Were Herbert  decapitated his young brother, Joel Ogema, in a ritual sacrifice allegedly on the orders of the Team No Sleep manager.

Following police investigations, a one Katende Moses was arrested as the prime suspect in the child sacrifice saga. According to a statement released by Police, Katende confessed to having created an imposter Facebook account where he impersonated Jeff Kiwa, and then duped the followers by promising them quick riches through initiating them into the satanic cult, Illuminati.
