It seems the breakthrough hit song for Winnie Nwagi, Musawo, left a curse on the curvaceous singer after she failed to follow it up with another hit.

The singer who is singed under Swangz Ave is now struggling and trying everything possible to be able to release another top him that will outmatch Musawo.

Winnie who tried to fight the curse with a new one called Kibulamu has not found a quarter of the success that she found with Musawo and is now struggling. We hope she fights the curse away.

If you love gospel music and have been following the life of Jackie Chandiru very closely especially through this trying time, the wait is over as the former Blu*3 singer is going to stage a concert before the end of this year.

Our sources have informed us that Jackie has instructed her manager Julie to prepare for a concert before the year ends so that she can give back and thank her true fans who stood by her through the challenging time she spent in rehab.

We have been told that the singer who is now improving after leaving rehab at Bunamwaya rehabilitation center on 28th May 2016 and is in Ntinda recuperating at the sister’s home will be back on stage real soon and with Gospel music to thank God for leading her through the near death experience successfully.

Jackie suffered a drug overdose recently that lead to her consequent sign up into rehab to help her get through safely.

Local musician Bebe Cool has released a new dancehall tune hitting out at women that have resorted to bleaching and putting on fake bums. The Gagamel boss unveiled this dancehall tune titled Kabulengane today.

In the song, Bebe sings about women who put on fake bums and wash faces pink while the legs are black, a trend that has taken over the city.

According to Bebe, the song was written by Raffick and produced by Enox and is Ugandan blended with Jamaican dancehall, a new music style called baxragga that was introduced by Aziz Azion.

The song is expected to be another massive hit that will rock airwaves like his Ki Ekiganye song which is already doing well on both local radio and TV stations.

On form dancehall singer Ziza Bafana has revealed that he is not about to stop releasing hits until he has hit his objective. The Akalulu singer while talking to pals at Laftaz revealed that he has a goal for the next few years and it is to make Uganda proud on the international scene.

Bafana revealed that he would want to bring an international accolade to this country and this is the time he has to accomplish that.

“We have some of the most powerful awards here like the prestigious BET, we need something else as well and I want to task myself to do that,” the singer said.

Ziza Bafana is currently one of the finest singers in the country. We have no doubt he can make us proud on the international scene.

Musician Kalifah Aganaga has morphed into a responsible man, thanks to fatherhood! This is after a photo emerged online showing the singer babysitting his baby. In the monochrome photo, the singer is seen taking care of his baby as he bottle-feeds him. Kalifah welcomed his bundle of joy early February this year and christened him German Karim Mukiibi.

Singer StarBoss Big Eye has set his eyes at elevating his music career and is taking every step towards that. The singer who earlier this year released his Self contained hit single is set to release another mouth watering master piece.

Talking to the singer’s management, they revealed new works are set for release and among them is a new video that was shot by one of the continent’s finest. “We are set to release a new video. It was shot by some of the best makers who we will reveal as soon as it is released,” the singer’s manager said.

Meanwhile, StarBoss is set to hold a mega concert later this year. “The dates and venue will be announced soon but we are very certain there will be a concert this later year,” his manager further revealed.

AY revealed in a recent interview that he has kept off women since he broke things off with his ex-girlfriend, two years ago.

Appearing on Tanzania’s Chill na Sky Show, AY said he loved his ex so much and it was difficult to fall in love with another woman.

“When I was dating my ex, I knew she was the right woman. I even told myself that if ever we parted ways, I would stay for long without getting into another relationship,” said AY.

The Mikono Juu singer further added that his ex knew he was committed to her.

“I told her that if we broke up and she stalks me on the internet to know who I’m dating, she will get zero information,” he recalled.

Veteran Nollywood actor and Honourable Member of the Lagos State House of Representatives, Desmond Elliot is celebrating one year as a lawmaker.

The father of four took to Instagram today, June 13, 2016 to thank God for the great opportunity.

“One year as a lawmaker… Another great opportunity to say ‘Thank you Lord’ for this great opportunity to serve in this great state Lagos,these wonderful people of the state and good people of Surulere. I will never take it for granted ,for this is a Privilege and I say Thank you lord over and over again. It hasn’t been easy but IT IS WELL,” he wrote.

Sauti Sol’s Polycarp recently went under the knife for a minor dental ailment that went well by his own account and hopefully we’ll see him back with the rest of the Sauti Sol lads soon.

“Good morning, as you’ve noticed in the past couple of days, I’ve been MIA. I underwent a minor dental surgery. I thank God that it went well and I’m just here tryna gather enough strength for tonight’s show.” Polycarp announced.

Jazz maestro Isaiah Katumwa is hoisting the Ugandan flag high on the international music scene. The musician who describes his music as “African, Smooth and Divine” has topped a Jazz music countdown on a top online radio in California, USA called “Smooth 97 The Oasis”.

The elated singer could not hide his joy as he revealed on Friday that he has topped the “Top 10 Indie Artists Chart” for four weeks. He said, “At Number one last week, its humbling to be on the Top 10 Indie Artists Chart on Smooth 97 The Oasis Radio in California for 4 weeks now. I am forever grateful to you my fans and friends for your love, prayers and support- our music is now playing in Berlin, USA, Europe, Portugal, etc. Lets keep pushing and pushing… as I always say even the Best can be made Better, we can be better than we are now.”

Producer and singer, Babatunde Okungbowa, who is well known as OJB Jezreel has been reported dead.

The popular music producer last year talked about how he was down with kidney related disease, and consequently was flown to India for a transplant, two things pre-occupied his mind. They were, the fear of the unknown and that of the mystery of death. But in the mix of these depressing thoughts, OJB did not give up the hope of cheating death. He went through the surgeon’s knife and came off successfully.

Today, the popular music producer was reported to have died.

Several weeks after the infamous issues between Tiwa Savage and Tee Billz, Mavin pop star Dr Sid has given his side of the story on allegations that he had a sexual relationship with the Eminado singer.

In a recent chat with The Sun, the Surulere crooner stated that Tiwa is a good friend of his and a hard worker even as he hopes she sorts out issues with Tee Billz.

He said: “Tiwa Savage is, and will always be, a good friend of mine. “She is a hard worker. All we need to do is to pray for them and hope that everything is sorted out soon. Tiwa also said a lot in her interview, so I am sure she has cleared the air on that. On my own, my wife and I are good. Everybody is fine.”

Singing diva Sheebah Karungi seems to have now taken her beef with Pallaso to another level and is now waging war on the Bubble singer’s wife Nicole Hayman Dinari.

According to our reliable sources, the Nkwatako singer is said to have sent a bitter message to Dinari revealing all the dirty acts she did with her hubby when he was still in Team No Sleep crew.

In a letter that Sheebah sent to Nicole, she reveals how Pallaso was in a secret love affair with her until she found out about his true evil colors and dumped him.

She also went ahead and ordered Pallaso’s wife Dinari to tell her husband that she is no longer and will never be interested in him again.

Dinari is said to have been very pissed and warned her to stop such useless rumors unless she wants trouble with her.

Socialite Zari Hassan and her lover boy Diamond Platnumz are said to be having misunderstandings.

According to our close sources in Tanzania, Zari is unhappy with the Number One hit maker for ignoring her and not giving her enough bed time even though they are in Ramadan.

The Boss Lady also claims that Diamond now concentrates more on her personal business and gives little time to his family compared to what he has been giving to her and their daughter in the past.

This comes a few weeks after Diamond’s mom was reported to be unhappy with Zari.

Singer Spice Diana is a no nonsense girl when it comes to managing her music group and recently fired one of her dancers for being undisciplined. According to a statement she posted on social media, the Nyumirwa singer indicates that a one Rinahhani, has been dismissed from her team because of not abiding to the rules and regulations.

Local musician Bobi Wine is one of the Ugandan artistes loved by many because of his philanthropic works. Bobi has confirmed his participation in the Save Nkozi hospital marathon that will take place  this Saturday, 18th June aimed at raising Ushs 600 million for constructing an accident emergency unit. The Situka singer confirmed his participation in a post on social media.

“Today, together with my wife and the administration team from Nkozi hospital, I paid a visit to His Eminence Emmanuel Cardinal Wamala at his residence where we addressed the media about the #SaveNkoziHospital marathon that’s going to happen this Saturday June 18th in Nkozi starting from the Equator to Nkozi hospital.

Our goal is to raise Ugx 600 Million to construct an #AccidentEmergencyUnit. THE CARDINAL WILL BE THE CHIEF RUNNER; he confirmed that. I will be the chief entertainer. I am calling upon all of you, friends and fans, especially those who use #MasakaRoad, ťo come and be part of this noble cause.”

Singer Angella Katatumba has been honoured for her humanitarian work in the 2016 Uganda Entertainment Awards.

According to Mr Ronald Kabuye, the Award Organizing Committee chairman, Angella Katatumba has been awarded the Humanitarian Noble Award in the Uganda Entertainment Awards 2016 that she will receive at the Award Giving Gala on 19th August 2016 at the Kampala Serena Hotel.

This comes when Angella is set for her maiden charity concert dubbed MULAGO YAFFE at the Kampala Serena Hotel on Friday 01st July 2016 at 6PM at a ticket price of 100,000 UGX. Tables go for 5 Million for 10 People and 3 Million for 6 People. Proceeds go to Uganda Cancer Institute for the fight against Cancer.

It is remembered that in January of this year, Angella donated 10,000,000 UGX to the Intensive Care Unit at Mulago National Referral Hospital. Her donation which was used to buy a Phototherapy Machine and a Syringe Pump is saving 60 babies lives every week.

Three weeks after that, she was invited by the UN under-Secretary General H.E Stephen O’Brien to attend and perform at the first ever UN World Humanitarian Summit in Istanbul Turkey. In May, Angella was recently also appointed the Face of Uganda Cancer Institute.

This year has been a successful one for the talented Philanthropist.

The singer  is said to have been involved in a boda boda accident that left him nursing injuries.

However, our sources have revealed that his situation is not alarming and he will soon be back on his feet.
