Geofrey Lutaaya, Irene Namatovu thank the Police for helping them recover stolen car

Musicians Geoffrey Lutaaya and his wife Irene Namatovu are very thankful to Police after they finally received their car that had been stolen last week after they were waylaid by armed robbers at Kalamba village in Butambala district. Following investigations by police, their car, a Toyota Alphard registration number UAY 544Q was finally recovered and handed over to the singers on Wednesday.

According to Police, in circumstances when they receive a stolen car, only someone with the legal documents for the car can be given the vehicle and in this case it was handed over to the Lutaayas who were very thankful.

“We thank God so much for bringing back our car and for the police for helping us through this very trying time. Indeed God is good,” Irene said.

Geoffrey Lutaaya and Irene Namatovu who were in company of three of their crew members were heading back to Kampala, from a music show in Kanoni town, Gomba district when the attack happened. The car was recovered in Iganga on Monday.

Singer Desire Luzinda who has been quiet on the music scene for some time now is back with a new song.  This time around, Desire is set to release a gospel song.

According to the Ekitone singer, it’s because of God’s mercy that she is where she is right now and she doesn’t  take it for granted, that is why she praising Him through music.

Desire has already recorded the song and it is titled “Lwa Kissa” which is going to be released any time soon.

Radio and Weasel agree to apologize to Jeff Kiwa over witchcraft video

Musicians Radio and Weasel have agreed to apologize following defamatory comments that were made claiming that they have always known that their former manager Jeff Kiwa practiced witchcraft, and they warned him to change but he refused.

The dynamic duo revealed this damning information in a video that was posted on Social Media claiming that Kiwa sacrifices people, takes their heads and does other charms to make money. The video was posted at the same time when Jeff was fighting with a human sacrifice case at Police which was cleared shortly after. This prompted Jeff to take them to court.

He hired renowned lawyer, Muwema of Muwema & company Advocates to take them on. According to the lawyer, the duo has defamed his client who is seeking legal redress of 500 million in damages.

Radio and Weasel have listened to legal advice from their lawyers and agreed to back down and apologize to Jeff for the defamatory statements. The Amaaso singers who had hired a team of 6 legal experts from Katende and Ssempebwa advocates to defend them have been advised to stand down and they seem to have decided to apologize.

Jeff Kiwa who managed Radio and Weasel has had a very bad relationship with the duo for a long time. The artistes have a few days to ask apologize of fame a hefty fine.

Musician Maureen Nantume has left her man because of his cheating ways. The couple who have been living together in their home along Entebbe road since 2015 are now in a bitter split after Nantume accused the man of sleeping around and straying too much.

Her man is called Ronnie and is a son to a wealthy businessman known as Kiddawalime. The fights began when Ronnie started coming home late and getting overly involved in side romps which didn’t go down well with Nantume, naturally. Sometimes we are told that he would leave the country under the guise of going for business trips only to meet his lovers across the boarder.

The musician has now decided to stay at her place in Kitende after the man caused her a lot of headache because of his cheating ways.

Following reports that socialite Zari the boss lady was not in her lover Diamond Platnumz good books because of associating and spending a lot of time with ex-hubby Ivan Ssemwanga, the couple seem to be back together.

Reports had it that the love birds were secretly beefing for some time. We are told that Platnumz was unhappy with Zari over Ivan Ssemwanga.

According to a source, the beef began weeks ago when Zari left her Tanzanian Superstar boyfriend and went to South Africa to close some business deals with Ivan. Remember that the two ex-partners have businesses together in South Africa among which is a school which had a graduation ceremony recently.

When Zari went to SA, she became very comfortable with Ivan to the extent that she overstayed her time in SA. This prompted Diamond to go down South to make sure he is with his woman. But to make matters worse, on Father’s Day, Zari showered praises on her ex-hubby Ivan calling him the best father ever for her three boys. Although she also recognized Diamond, the latter was unhappy with Zari over the same. It was like adding salt to a wound.

The two are now back at it and Zari today wished her man good luck at the BET awards, praying for him to bring back the award. “I wish you a safe journey, Safari njema. May the Good Lord be with you all the way. Praying you bring the BET Award back to East Africa,” she said.

This comes after Desire confessed her love for Sheebah’s music recently. She even posted a video of her singing along to Sheebah’s hit song Wadawa.

Although Desire who was playing the song in her car a she was driving didn’t seem to know all the lyrics, she proved that she is a big fan of Sheebah’s nice tune.

Delus, who enjoyed success with his brother before pursuing a solo career, is believed to have shot himself yesterday afternoon.

The older brother of dancehall star Konshens is believed to have committed suicide at his home in Jamaica yesterday afternoon (June 22), local press reports.

Delus, real name was Delmark Spence, got a break on the entertainment scene in 2005 with a single Pon Di Corna, which he did with his famous brother.

After deciding to pursue solo careers, Delus and Konshens went separate ways.

As a solo artist, the 35-year-old is known for songs such as What Tomorrow May Bring, Another Gal, and She is Happy.

When top singer Desire Luzinda posted a beautiful photo of herself in a nice sexy red dress, the last thing she expected was for fans to judge her because of her skin complexion.

The singer was shocked with comments from fans asking her to stop bleaching her skin instead of comments praising her beautiful look in her new red dress.

One of the fans said that she is a beautiful woman who looks good but needs to stay free of bleaching in order to avoid complications in future. “Desire you are so beautiful but reduce on the bleaching darling. It’s too much. You’ll almost look like a zombie if you continue bleaching. Love your music anyways,” said Irene.

Another comment reads; “Wama we love you but reduce on bleaching. Ladies love your colour. You think your turning to white yet you are becoming colorless.”

Aisha said; “people should stop judging Desire. How sure are you that its bleaching? Money changes the weather conditions. Don’t promote bleaching but this girl looks good.”

Desire didn’t respond to any of her fans.

Dr. Jose Chameoene had a surprise for fans this morning when they woke up only to find out that he had cut off his hair to look like Mowzey Radio. Although some people believe that he is trying so hard to be relevant, the singer’s new look has nothing to do with relevance according to a source from Leone Island.

Chameleone was welcomed to the club of artistes with a new look by the chairman of the club, Radio. Remember that Radio had for a long time maintained his dreads until he cut them off and got a new look that fans are in love with.

Some even call him school boy to show how young he looks. Radio welcomed Chameleone saying, “Welcome to the new digital world,” as if to say that his old hairstyle was more of an analog hairstyle.

According to Leila, the two are really good friends who have never been engaged in anything serious apart from the girl time, partying, drinking together, simple girl pecks etc.

The singer is unhappy with fans who have been calling her all sort of names after seeing saucy photos of her on Instagram.

Tanzania’s Diamond Platnumz is said to be unhappy with Ugandan musician Bebe Cool following the comments he made last week as he warned Ugandan journalists to stop comparing his wife Zuena with Diamond’s lover Zari Hassan.

According to our sources, Diamond Platnumz is said to have been disappointed by Bebe Cool calling Zari irresponsible and he says that he always respected the Ki Ekiganye singer but it seems he doesn’t respect others.

The Number One singer is said to be demanding an apology from Bebe Cool to his girlfriend Zari.

We wait to see if the Gagamel boss will swallow his pride and apologize to Zari.

Dancehall artiste Ziza Bafana is in a new sex scandal and this time with another upcoming female artiste identified as Joy Good with whom they recently did a song titled Byakola.

Information reaching our desk indicates that Bafana met Joy Good at Hinterland studios and recorded a song with her as he promised to promote her music before they started secretly dating.  Their affair only became public after they almost bonked in studio.

It is said that Joy’s boyfriend Producer Ron Don was unhappy after learning that Bafana was feasting on her girlfriend and has vowed to bring an end to Bafana’s relationship with Joy.

It should be recalled that the Akalulu singer was recently involved in a sex scandal with female artiste Fyonna Nsubuga who accused Bafana of wanting to rape her when the two were on a music tour.

Bobi wine's son Solomon KampalaBobi Wine’s son, Kamapla Solomon is following in the footsteps of his father. The self-proclaimed Ghetto President has honed the leadership skills of his son, and his efforts seem to be paying off. This comes after Solomon was elected the President of the Water and Sanitation club at his school.

The elated father took to social media to share the news. He posted: “One day this young man came back from school and told me that he had been elected president of the School Water and Sanitation Club (SWAS) whose main objective was to promote general conservation of the environment.Later he was tasked by his teacher to record a song about the same.”

Meanwhile, Solomon is set to release his debut song educating the masses about environment conservation.
