Kaffy is mad at Davido!

The popular dancer took to Instagram on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 to issue a harsh message to the Nigerian artiste.

In a video post, Kaffy said Davido had fired some dancers as they were about to take the stage after practicing for weeks and him agreeing to work with them.

“This message goes to Mr Omo Baba Olowo…. Please help me tell him he is a motherf*cker from all dancers all over the country, ” she said in the video.

The choreographer said it was unethical and unprofessional for the artiste to just take that sort of decision before show time.

In the video she calls the name of Davido’s manager, Kamal and asks him to play the video for him.

The post also came with a long caption calling for dancers to be respected:

“ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!! It’s alright if artiste don’t need us. We are artistes ourselves . It is very disrespectful for you to look down at and trample on people who in one way or the other contribute to where u are today. Dance is our widows mite to a lot of your careers .

All u need to do is respect us. Even other people under you suffer ur arrogance from stylist to band men. This message is for those of you that disrespectfully disregard us dancers especially.

@davidoofficial if u don’t want dancers express it way before U agree to allow them dance than when u about to climb the stage u decide u don’t need us again.or tell dancers not to come near u while u perform .wtf.

It’s not ur fault we have learnt our lesson and we thank arrogant artiste like u as this will not continue for long. Nowadays artiste take a piss. People pay a lot of money to see u come out and give a good show it requires more than u jumping all over the place with no content .

Even some artiste in other countries who perform alone still plan their craft. They practice they rehearse the Are never tired of doing better than their last. But here most don’t care only few like @peterpsquare and @rudeboypsquare @2niteflavour @tiwasavage @efya_nokturnal @iamseyishay @dareydarey even @jidenna a one man performer plans his craft for his fans. (This is to mention a few out of the few).”

Kaffy also dabbles into music, as her husband ‘Papi J Ameh’, is also a drummer and an artiste signed to Peter Okoye’s P-Classic Records.

Following the success of the annual MixTape party that was held at Laftaz Lounge recently,  the manger to Uganda’s deejaying duo, DJ Roja and Slick Stuart is venturing into new business.

Bridget Nisha has just reported back from Nairobi where she had travelled to secure a fighting partner to the once national kickboxing champion Sharif Bukenya.

The fight which is scheduled for 19th November at the MTN Arena will see Uganda’s Sharif take on one of the Kenyan champions in the East African bantam weight category.

“This is going to be one of the fights of the year because the Kenyan fighter is not a joke. We are expecting a brilliant fight from both fighters,” Nisha said.

University beauties are set to showcase what their mama gave them in the Miss University pageant slated for early November.

Representatives from all universities around the country are going to converge at the IUEA auditorium on 4th November for the grand finale of the pageant.

“Different prizes await this year’s winner and to all the participants who are representing their universities. Campaigns are on going on all the social media platforms to vote for Miss Popularity and the voting closes on the finale day,” said Kanyike Allan Bwette, the proprietor of Miss University.

Now in its third edition, Miss University is a platform for campus girls to express themselves to the world. Miss University winners will represent Uganda in the inter-university beauty contest international which is scheduled for next year.

Renowned city events emcee, MC Kats has now signed talented songwriter and vocalist Ray Signature, just a week after falling out with his fiancée and singer Fille Mutoni.

According to close sources, Ray Signature and MC Kats have already agreed on terms  under which his talent will be managed to see that his music career gets back to the top.

It should be noted that Kats was dropped by the Double Trouble singer following a misunderstanding that led to a fight which sparked their separation.

We hope that MC Kats will revamp Ray Signature’s career since he has a lot of experience in managing artistes.

Upcoming singer and Starboss Big Eye’s ex-lover, Sheila Patience Don Zella has attacked a local tabloid for writing false stories about her.

According to the tabloid, Don Zella has been allegedly dumped by her friends and most of them have started distancing themselves from her because of posing nude every now and then.

The tabloid also indicates that Fifie, one of Zella’s close friends recently held a party at her boutique found in Kansanga but to everyone’s surprise, Don Zella wasn’t invited something that sparked rumours that their friendship might have hit the rocks.

However, Don Zella has trashed the claims and blasted the tabloid for peddling lies in a post she made on social media.

Top Team No Sleep singer and MTV MAMAs 2016 nominee, Sheebah Karungi will not be performing at any show for the next few weeks. The singer who returned from South Africa last Saturday where she had gone to attend the MTV MAMAs, will not be stepping on any stage from now on.

According to a source from Team No Sleep, singers like Nina Roz and Roden Y among others will be performing at all events that Sheebah was supposed to grace. We have been told that her management team is preparing the ‘Farmer’ singer for her December 2nd concert that will take place at Hotel Africana people’s space.

“Sheebah will be off the radar for the next couple of weeks as her management makes sure that she is fit for the concert and create demand for her from fans. So, if anyone wants to see her perform, December is not very far,” the source told us.

Sheebah will be hosting her maiden concert months after her fellow star, Irene Ntale did the same.

Dj Bash DaSweetest was crowned the best disc jockey in western region over the weekend.

This after he triumphed in the “The Best of The West DJ Battle” that took place at Forest Bar in Fort Portal on Saturday evening.

The inaugural deejay face off attracted several disc jockeys from districts of Bundibigyo, Kasese, Kamwenge, Kyenjojo, and Kabarole among others.

The deejays showcased their skills on the turntable in front of judges who crowned Dj Bash DaSweetest  winner. Dj Ras Wilz was 1st runner up while Dj Chaka was 2nd runner up.

The award-winning artiste told Planet Radio TV he was shocked to see her video.

“I don’t have any problem with her,” he said.

“I was even shocked to see that, you know I’m always used to be being the victim”.

Kaffy issued a harsh message to Davido on Wednesday last week via Instagram.

The long running tiff between Bongo Flava superstars Diamond and Ali Kiba has time and again offered fans really juicy gossip.

The most recent installment was Ali Kiba alleging that Diamond Platnumz’s manager Sallam Sharaff switched off his microphone at the Mombasa Rocks Festival and the manager responded saying Ali Kiba had a bad show and was looking for someone to blame.

So then it would only seem natural that their respective managers don’t get along, right? Wrong.

Last week, Diamond’s manager posted a photo of Ali Kiba’s manager Seven Mosha on Instagram and captioned it “#WCW” (Woman Crush Wednesday) with a blushing emoji.

The “Second Chance Ug” cast

NTV Uganda’s version of popular Latin telenovela called El Cuerpo del Deseo (Second Chance) will finally premiere tonight at 8pm.

Dubbed “Second Chance Ug”, the film features a star-studded cast including Fagil Mandy, Anita Fabiola, Isaac Kudzu, Stella Nantumbwe and Roger Mugisha among others.

The soap opera follows the unprecedented success of the original “Second Chance” on the local airwaves.  It aired on NTV Uganda back in 2009 and attracted a huge viewership who were charmed by Isabella and Salvador’s impressive acting.

The NBS After5 presenter has finally realized that life is not only about partying and needs to build his own house for his many kids as he tries to forget about his fiancée Fille who recently left her following a misunderstanding they had two weeks ago.

It should be noted that MC Kats and Fille have not been staying together for the last two weeks ever since they got a misunderstanding that resulted into a fight that even forced the Mpola Mpola singer to cancel her concert and drop Kats from his managerial role.

MC Kats has been a hard working guy and seems to have now channeled all his efforts to building his own house. He announced his new project on social media where he posted: “Dear Lord lead me n help me on this journey.”

Just a few days after giving up on music, socialite Bad Black, real name Shanita Namuyimbwa, seems to have decided to dedicate the rest of her life to serving God and is now building her own church.

Bad Black recently surprised many after she posted a picture on social media showing a structure of a church she is building in Bugolobi, though we are not yet sure if she will be the one of the pastors at the church.

Bad Black posted: “Oh blessed is ur holy name Lord !! It should be noted that Bad Black’s life has changed ever since she left Luzira prison and recently she gave her life to Jesus at Rubaga Miracle Centre where Pastor Robert Kayanja prayed for her as she assured them to be a committed born again christian and always seek for guidance from them in order to keep on the right path of salvation.

Musician A Pass has been dropped as Airtel Uganda ambassador.

The Mariana singer who was signed as ambassador last year has announced that he is no longer working with Airtel.

He indicated that his contract with the Telecom company came to an end as he appreciated them for being lovely people for the time he has been working with them.

He posted: “I would love to officially announce that I am no longer working with Airtel Uganda it has been amazing working with them and the whole team, I wish them the best in the future. Thank You Airtel I appreciate the times we shared.”

MC Kats’ firstborn daughter, only identified as Clouva, will sit for this year’s  Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE).

The renowned events and media personality has since come out to wish her success in her exams. He said, “My darling Clouva love u lots. My first born wish u luck in ur PLE Exams”

According to Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) timetables, primary seven pupils will start with briefing on Tuesday, 1st November  and sit for the exams on 2nd and 3rd November.

Tiwa Savage and estranged hubby Teebillz

About six months after her marital squabble made the front page of newspapers, magazines and dominated discussions on radio and TV talk shows, it appears talented minstrel, Tiwa Savage, is ready to mend fences with her estranged hubby, Tunji Balogun aka Tee Billz.

According to sources close to the singer, her body language indicates that she’s ready to reconcile with her baby’s daddy. Already, there have been meetings between both families aimed at a peaceful reconciliation.

Tiwa is also said to have been meeting with older couples and counsellors who have been advising her to give her marriage another chance in respect of the ‘for better, for worse’ vows she took at the altar.

Our source who commented under the condition of anonymity stated that, “You can take my word for it that a reconciliation is in the offing between Tiwa and Teebillz. She has told people close to her that she misses Tunji, and she wants him back in her life. Also, as their son, Jamal (Jam Jam) is growing older, Tiwa wants to ensure that he has a father figure around.”

Speaking further, the source said, “Of course, she has also given a condition that Teebillz gets help so that all the issues that led to his public meltdown will not happen again.” However, there are also reports that Tiwa’s mom was badly hurt by the negative things Teebillz said about her on Instagram, but she’s ready to forgive and forget all because all she really wants is her daughter’s happiness.

Meanwhile, Teebillz’s whereabouts is been jealously guarded like a high-value painting at a museum. His known friends in the entertainment industry have studiously maintained sealed lips in response to inquiries about where their friend is. But it was gathered that Teebillz is presently not in Nigeria, as he travelled out shortly after the couple’s fight in April.

But the good news is that the hermit guy has reopened his Instagram page which he surreptitiously closed down in the wake of the marriage brouhaha.

Mariah Carey is blaming her breakup with James Packer on Scientology influences. Sources close to the superstar say she believes Packer’s business manager Tommy Davis, a former Church of Scientology spokesperson, has poisoned their relationship.

Insiders in Carey’s camp claim Davis has taken control of Packer’s finances, and even allege he has put the Australian billionaire on a detoxification program known at the church as a “Purification Rundown” and ordered Packer to “disconnect” from the diva.

Sources close to Packer, 49, strongly deny this and say his split with Carey, 46, was due to her excessive spending and the drama surrounding her as she films a reality show for E!.

Carey was stunned when she was asked to leave the billionaire casino magnate’s yacht in Greece in September and was then ordered to move out of Packer’s Calabasas, Calif., home immediately.

A source close to Carey explained, “Mariah and James were looking at homes in Beverly Hills to buy together in August, everything was fine, he was saying she was his soulmate, and he couldn’t wait to marry her. Then suddenly he changed. In September, James suddenly seemed not like himself at all. Mariah is suspicious of Tommy, who has been managing James’ finances, and she suspects he is controlling him.”

Packer — who was a Scientologist between 2002 and 2006 — seemed a different person when Carey joined him on his yacht in Greece in mid-September. The source continued, “Mariah’s manager Stella [Bulochnikov] clashed with Tommy, and she demanded to know what was going on. James was acting so strange that Mariah asked him directly, ‘What is going on, are you back in Scientology?’ Then she was told by his staff, ‘James isn’t well and he doesn’t want you to see him like this, so please leave.’”

Carey returned to LA and checked into the Beverly Hills Hotel, and she and Packer haven’t spoken since. The source added, “Mariah was stunned. To see the man you are going to marry change overnight. It was like he was a different person. She became very concerned and didn’t know how to deal with his sudden change of heart. It is heartbreaking for her.”

The source added that Davis looked into Packer’s finances and flagged how much he was spending on Carey. “Tommy started asking James, ‘Why are we buying Mariah this dress for this event? Why are we paying for her hair and makeup?’ She’s Mariah Carey, for goodness’ sake, of course she needs dresses, hair and makeup! Mariah also believes that Tommy advised James not to buy a new home for Mariah, and that he was behind her being ordered to move out of their home.”

A source close to Packer responded to the claims that Davis poisoned his relationship with Carey, “This isn’t true. James is not a part of the Church anymore. Tommy wasn’t even on the boat with Mariah, James, and her team this summer, the only time he has met Mariah was in February when he went as a guest to her concert with James.”

As for Packer’s finances, the source continued, “Tommy is an executive in James’ company, and part of his role is looking into Packer’s finances and expenditures, of course he has advised him. The idea he is controlling James and his companies is ridiculous. He looked at his expenses and made suggestions where he saw overspending.

“James isn’t a man who could be controlled, he is a very successful businessman who is in control of a number of businesses and he has a lot of excellent people working for him. James isn’t the kind of guy to listen to someone else where it comes to his private life. His relationship with Mariah ended because she is a diva, she has an entourage around her, and she’s filming a TV show, which is a crazy world that James doesn’t want to be involved with.”

Packer also is facing a business crisis in China after 18 sales and marketing executives for his Crown Casino empire were detained there. The Crown staff are under investigation for violating laws that prohibit direct marketing of casinos to groups in China. It has been reported that authorities are preparing to press charges, and the Crown employees could face up to 10 years in prison. Packer expressed his “deep concern” in a statement in mid-October, adding, “Our number one priority is to be able to make contact and to ensure they are all safe.”

Meanwhile, his reps are continuing to negotiate a settlement with Carey, who is asking for $50 million for the “emotional distress” of moving her life to LA, only to be told to move out, and for the heartbreak that allegedly forced her to cancel a series of South American tour dates.
