Rubaga South MP Kato Lubwama, who also doubles as a comedian, recently stormed Vision Group offices along Jinja road and attacked Bukedde TV presenter Josephat Seguya for talking about his questionable academic papers on air.

Lubwama went straight to Sseguya’s office and confronted him for talking about his academic qualifications yet he also didn’t go to school.

Sseguya says that he also talked about the details of Lubwama’s case and therefore he should have attacked those who sued him in courts of law and not him and further promised to post his academic papers on social media to prove to Lubwama, that unlike him, he went to school and passed excellently.

It should be noted that Lubwama’s woes began early this week after the Uganda Examinations Body denied knowledge of his ‘O’ Level academic papers following a case filed against him by activist, Mr. Habib Buwembo, a member of jobless brother hood, challenging Lubwama’s academic qualifications.

Singer StarBoss Big Eye, who is in the final stages of his “Nkuziniremu-Self Contained” concert, is said to have gotten a big boost for the concert.

StarBoss is said to have received a 20 million cash boost from a Dubai friend to facilitate his forthcoming concert.

The alleged financial boost is said to have come from a one Mithy Powers who is said to be a longtime friend to the singer.

The “Nkuziniremu-Self Contained” concert will be held on the 3rd of December at hotel La Grande in Bwaise.

Singing diva Leila Kayondo recently got back her BMW Car that had been impounded by Interpol police in an operation to retrieve cars stolen from foreign countries that took place in July.

The Manifesto singer is now back on the road and was spotted cruising her customized BMW car with smiles all over her face last week.

During a recent interview on one of the local radio stations, Leila was asked to explain how she got back her car and she revealed that Interpol concluded its investigations and found out that the car was not stolen but only that some devices had been interchanged while fixing it.

Newly crowned Miss Uganda Leah Kagasa will soon embark on a journey to becoming a flight attendant. This comes after she received a scholarship to study a cabin crew course at the Uganda Aviation School.

She will undertake a nine month course starting January 2017 sponsored by Capt. Mike Mukula.

An excited Leah said, “We received a scholarship worth USD 2750 for the three of us; Miss Uganda 2016, 2nd Runner Up and Miss Uganda East from Captain Mike Mukula of Uganda Aviation School to study a 9 months cabin crew course starting January 2017 standing a chance to be recruited in some of the world’s top airlines.”

Flight attendants or cabin crew are members of an aircrew employed by airlines primarily to ensure the safety and comfort of passengers aboard flights.

Swangz Avenue singer Irene Ntale has finally cleared the air about the pregnancy rumors that were going around recently.

While appearing on NTV the Beat music show yesterday, the Gyobera singer trashed the rumors revealing that she is not pregnant yet though she is working tirelessly to achieve that soon or later.

It should be noted that Ntale, who has been linked to several city dudes in the past, has often admitted to being in relationship but has been adamant in disclosing his identity.

Ugandan socialite Zari Hassan is in tears after she was robbed recently.

Zari fell victim to thugs who made away with her handbag early this week. She says she lost several valuables that included her ID and bank cards.

She shared her ordeal on social media where she said she felt stripped of her world. She posted: “When a woman’s handbag is stolen it’s like your ‘world’ has been taken away from you… am literally stripped of everything. Cellphones, bank cards most importantly your ID. I hold no grudge on these thugs, I’ve prayed and handed them to God ‘coz life still gotta go on.”

It’s three weeks until comedian Trevor Noah releases his much anticipated book, Born a Crime. An extract of the book has been released detailing his childhood growing up in Eden Park,Johannesburg during Apartheid.

In the extract, published by the New York Times on Tuesday, Trevor paid tribute to his mother for her strength.

He explained that growing up he “never felt poor” because of the “rich” experiences his mother gave him.

“As modestly as we lived, I never felt poor because our lives were so rich with experience. We were always out doing something, going somewhere. Sometimes, my mom would take me on drives through fancy white neighbourhoods. We’d go look at people’s houses, look at their mansions. We’d look at their walls, mostly, because that’s all we could see from the road. We’d look at a wall that ran from one end of the block to the other and go: ‘Wow. That’s only one house. All of that is for one family,” Trevor remembered.

Trevor said that his mother was able to give him these experiences because she “refused to be bound by ridiculous ideas of what black people couldn’t or shouldn’t do”.

“She raised me as if there were no limitations on where I could go or what I could do. When I look back, I realize she raised me like a white kid — not white culturally, but in the sense of believing that the world was my oyster, that I should speak up for myself, that my ideas and thoughts and decisions mattered… My mother showed me what was possible. The thing that always amazed me about her life is that no one showed her. No one chose her. She did it on her own. She found her way through sheer force of will,” he added.

In this way, Trevor said, his mom prepared him for “a life of freedom” long before the system of Apartheid collapsed.

“My mother started her little project, me, at a time when she could not have known that Apartheid would end. I was nearly 6 when Mandela was released, 10 before democracy finally came, yet she was preparing me to live a life of freedom long before we knew freedom would exist,” he wrote.

In a more light-hearted moment, Trevor opened up about driving a car as a six-year-old.

“On the commute to work and school, there was a long stretch of the road into town that was completely deserted. That’s where my mom would let me drive. On the highway. I was 6.”

Singer Grace Nakimera is said to be in tears after her relationship with King Oyo was recently brought to an end.

According to our sources, Tooro kingdom elders held a meeting and resolved that its high time King Oyo finds a queen for the kingdom and settles down.

Other sources indicate that some elders blamed Grace Nakimera over a strange disease eating up King Oyo and resolved that he dumps her for a serious lover.

However, King Oyo was unhappy with their resolution something that has forced him to drinking booze to forget about the singer as he spends most of the time at Sky Lounge alone.

Former ‘About Town’ TV show host who is currently working on a new show, Tinah Teise, has surrendered her life to Christ after a near death experience.

The star who was ambushed by the hazardous Kifesi gang last Saturday said that she survived the attack due to God’s mercy shortly before she gave her life to Christ.

Speaking about the incident, Tinah said; “Last night was one of those nights I ever dreaded in my life. Got attacked by armed robbers in Kiwatule at the washing bay opposite Cynabell supermarket as i was driving home from a very long night of work and shoots after I had dropped off my producer at Lugayizi Denis at his place in Naalya. (Thank God the equipment was already out of the car)The details are many. Everything was stolen but thank God I am still alive coz the guys literally strangled me. I am in tooooo much pain. Pray for me as I nurse wounds and cuts. My phones are all off but I am trying to get my lines back. I am terrified beyond compare! Pray for me.”

When we had a chat with her about the incident, Tinah who is currently nursing wounds on her neck and arms said that God is the only answer in her life now and that is why she got saved. “I am thankful to God for saving me on that day. I have managed to get back on my feet, I am now shooting my new show, my car was repaired and everything is okay now. But most importantly, I have turned to Christ,” she told us.

Local musician Maurice Kirya is enjoying his vacation in Mombasa.

The “Mwooyo” music crooner jetted off to Kenya early this week and has since been reveling in the coastal city’s scenic beauty and pristine beaches.

Kirya could not hide his excitement about the trip as he revealed that he is having a great time. He is expected to conclude his vacation this weekend as he prepares for his mega birthday celebration which will take place on Friday, 4th November at Sky Lounge.

Meanwhile, the Mombasa trip is a dream come true for Maurice Kirya as he has in the past revealed that he has always wanted to visit the coastal city.

Celebrated Uganda rapper Navio has hit studio again.

Navio, who has dominated the local airwaves this year with his smash hit single “Njogereza”, is looking to replicate its success.

This after he yet again sought the services of the brains behind the “Njogereza” song. Navio is working on new music with renowned producer Paddy Man.

He disclosed this while speaking about his upcoming music project. He said, “I am back in studio with Paddy Man, the maestro that gave you the Multi-Award Winning Song of 2016 ‘Njogereza’.”

“I am concentrating on that lyrics, and making you some real music,” he added.

Fans of Peter Okoye have shared their distaste for a picture he posted on his Instagram.

Peter, on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 dropped a photo of himself with the mid-section of his body somewhat protruded.

This act has angered his fans who feel he ought to know better considering his role model status.

Reacting to the post, an Instagram user with the ID ‘peaceful4real’ wrote, “What is this? even if u are an entertainer but you are also a married man for crying out loud.”

In the middle of her set at the 3 Thrones concert on Sunday, October 23, 2016 the singer stopped her performance to question Tunde and Wunmi Obe about the secret of their marriage.

The mother of one commented on the rise of unsuccessful marriages amongst young couples. She asked the couple about the key to their successful marriage and Wunmi replied she married her friend.

“I married the man I love – he’s my friend and everything,” said Wunmi.

The couple who have been married for 18 years and have three children together stated that respect was important.

“Mutual respect is also very important to a marriage. Communication, patience, tolerance are also imperative”.

“Most importantly; the only third party allowed in your life should be God and no one else” the couple shared.

Tiwa Savage performed several of her popular songs including ‘Kele Kele’, ‘Without my Heart’, ‘Bad’, ‘Wanted’ and Standing ovation’.

Nigerian beautiful female artist, Yemi Alade has revealed that she wishes Flavour Nabania would fall in love with her.

Recently on Accelerate Tv in an interview with Ade Laoye when she was recieved as a guest; she was asked to make a wish on things she would request for if she had three wishes to make.

Well, one of the wishes Yemi Alade made was if “Flavour Would Fall In Love With Her”, and we see this as her revelation about having a huge crush on the 2Nite Entertainment Boss.

Flavour has fathered two children from two different ex-beauty queens, and although rumour was rife last year that he had secretly married Sandra Okagbue, one of his babymamas, he categorically denied it.
